Build a repeatable document-extraction task
Describe the documents, required outputs and success criteria to the runbook creator. It guides you through writing a RUNBOOK.md with processing steps and either programmatic checks or a quality rubric.
Build and manage Jetty workflows, and turn multi-step agent tasks into runbooks with explicit checks.
Jetty brings workflow management and runbook authoring into your coding agent. A runbook is a Markdown document that defines a task, its expected outputs and how to evaluate them. Use the plugin to develop repeatable agent tasks, manage workflows on Jetty and investigate their results.
In Claude Code, you can invoke skills through slash commands or describe your task so the agent can select a matching skill. Ask for setup when connecting your account, runbook creation when defining a new task, or optimization when you have execution results to learn from. The bundled MCP server connects the agent to Jetty's workflow tools.

Ask the workflow-management skill to inspect a run's trajectory: its execution history and step outputs. Use the errors and intermediate results to identify what needs changing before running it again.
Give the optimizer an existing runbook and previous runs. It looks for recurring failures, wasted retries and unclear instructions, then proposes specific edits tied to execution evidence. In the interactive flow, you choose which edits to apply or save the findings as a report.
The skills provide guided workflows; the bundled MCP server gives your agent access to Jetty operations such as listing tasks, starting workflows and retrieving run results.
Account or credentials needed
Manage workflows, inspect run results and label trajectories through natural-language requests.
Connect your account, save its token and check credentials for your workloads.
Write a structured runbook with defined outputs, evaluation criteria and refinement steps.
Analyze previous runs and propose specific improvements to an existing runbook.
Connect your agent to Jetty to list tasks, run workflows and retrieve results.
Install the whole Jetty plugin in Claude Code.
Use an installed, signed-in Claude Code. The bundled MCP server uses Node.js 18 or later.
Add Jetty's marketplace and install the plugin. Run both commands in your terminal.
claude plugin marketplace add jettyio/jettyio-skills
claude plugin install jetty@jettyIn Claude Code, ask to set up Jetty. Follow the wizard to create or connect your account and save your Jetty token in ~/.config/jetty/token. Provider-key setup and runbook creation are for running workloads afterward.
Ask Claude Code to list your Jetty collections. Confirm that it returns the collections accessible to your account. This checks authenticated access without starting a workflow.
