Research a token before trading
Ask for a token’s price history, liquidity, holder concentration, and smart-money activity. The market skill gathers the data, while token-safety checks go through the wallet skill.
Overview
Onchain OS Skills equips your AI assistant to research tokens, inspect wallets, execute transactions, manage DeFi positions, and work with OKX.AI agent services. Its skills use the Onchain OS CLI and route requests between market research, wallet actions, payments, and protocol-specific workflows.
Describe the task in your conversation. In Claude Code and Codex, the assistant can select a matching skill automatically, or you can select one yourself through the tool’s skill menu.
- Wallet access and approval Using your managed wallet requires signing in; the wallet skill instructs the assistant to obtain explicit confirmation before changing on-chain state.
- Market-data charges Some market endpoints charge after their free quota; approving overage billing for a tier enables automatic payment signing with your saved asset.
Use Cases
Swap or bridge wallet assets
Check your holdings, request a swap or cross-chain quote, and follow the transaction through execution and status tracking. The wallet skill handles these actions alongside transfers, contract calls, and limit orders.
Find yield and manage DeFi positions
Compare OKX-aggregated products across protocols, inspect existing positions, or request a deposit, withdrawal, or reward claim. Requests targeting a named protocol go through DApp discovery.
Work with a specific DApp
Ask to supply assets on Aave V3, inspect Hyperliquid positions, or use another supported protocol. DApp discovery routes the request to a separate OKX plugin; installing that plugin and any required downloaded binaries needs your approval.
Manage an agent service
Find an OKX.AI service, register an agent identity, or manage a task or subscription. The agent-service skill also covers delivery reviews, evaluations, ratings, and task-progress monitoring.
Access a paid endpoint
For a one-off paid endpoint, the payment skill presents the network, token, amount, and recipient for confirmation before proceeding. It also handles payment links, payment status, and metered sessions.

Install
The CLI-based skills instruct your assistant to run an Onchain OS installer check before its first CLI task in a conversation. Wallet sign-in is separate from installation.
Claude Code
Use a local Claude Code session. Git and Node.js with npx are needed for the skills’ installer check.

Add the Onchain OS marketplace inside Claude Code.

Open the plugin’s installation panel, choose the installation scope, and install it.

Check the installation summary. If it requests a reload, closing the panel normally applies it. If Claude Code warns that reloading would invalidate the prompt cache and leaves the plugin pending, run the forced reload below in the session to activate it; this costs one uncached request.

Open the plugin manager and confirm onchainos-skills appears under Installed. In the slash menu, look for its skills under the onchainos-skills namespace.

Use Codex CLI for this method. Plugins are unavailable in the IDE extension; use the Onchain OS installer method there. Git and Node.js with npx are needed for the skills’ installer check.

Add the repository as a marketplace from your terminal.
