COMMUNITYLABSCO SUMMARY
Composio's repository is best known for its ~806 one-per-app connector skills —
Gmail, Slack, Jira, Yelp, and hundreds more. We have taken all of them off
Labsco. Every one of them had the same single setup instruction: add
https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server, "no API keys needed". Composio
discontinued Rube on 16 May 2026, and rube.app no longer resolves in DNS —
so that instruction fails before a reader's client can even open a connection.
The repository has not changed its SKILL.md files since 22 May 2026, and the
maintainers' own issue thread about the shutdown has been open and unanswered
since 14 May 2026.
We removed them rather than leave 806 pages teaching a setup that cannot work. Nothing is deleted: each one keeps its record and can be restored the day Composio updates the files.
READ THE FULL ANALYSIS
What is left is the genuinely standalone part of the repository — the
document skills (docx, pdf, pptx, xlsx), creative and productivity
skills (canvas-design, invoice-organizer, file-organizer,
tailored-resume-generator), and developer tooling (mcp-builder,
skill-creator, webapp-testing). These do not depend on Rube, and we
re-checked their install paths in September 2026.
If you came here for the app connectors, Composio's replacement is its own
hosted gateway — the composio CLI (composio login, then
composio setup), or https://connect.composio.dev/mcp added as an MCP
server. Both require a free Composio account, which the old skills claimed you
did not need. Note also that the retired skills call tools named RUBE_*;
those were renamed to COMPOSIO_*.
Checked 16 September 2026. The Rube shutdown and the DNS failure are verified; the replacement path is our reconstruction from Composio's public documentation and shutdown notice — we have not run it end to end.

connect-apps
Manage auth and connect to 500+ apps using Composio. Perform real actions from Claude Code - send emails, create issues, post messages, and more.
WHAT'S INSIDE
28 showing · 28 totalNothing else to set up — install it and go.
artifacts-builder
Builds a shareable mini web app — several screens, working buttons and forms — and squashes the whole project into a single file a Claude conversation can display.
brand-guidelines
Makes a deck look like Anthropic produced it, rather than like a default template with a logo dropped on top.
canvas-design
Invents a small art movement of its own — a written manifesto — and then paints a poster to it, so what comes out is art rather than a decorated page.
changelog-generator
Reads the notes developers leave on each code change and turns them into a plain what's-new list a customer can actually read.
competitive-ads-extractor
Looks at the ads your competitors are paying to run right now, and works out what is landing in them and why.
connect
The difference between an assistant that tells you how to do something and one that just does it, across a thousand apps you already use.
content-research-writer
A writing partner rather than a ghostwriter: you keep writing in your own voice, and it does the digging, the sourcing and the honest read-back.
docx
Everything you would normally do to a Word file — write a new one, pull the text out of an old one, revise someone else's — handled the way Word itself would.
domain-name-brainstormer
The naming session and the availability check in one go, so the names you fall for are ones you can actually register.
file-organizer
Someone to hand the mess to: it reads through a folder, decides what belongs where, and waits for your yes before anything actually moves.
image-enhancer
Makes a picture look better than it did — sharper, bigger, cleaner — and never overwrites what you started with.
internal-comms
Writes the routine updates a workplace runs on, each one following a house format rather than being invented from scratch every week.
invoice-organizer
Tax time without the shoebox — a year of receipts and invoices turned into a filing system you can actually search.
langsmith-fetch
Opens up the black box: the recording LangSmith kept of an agent's run, read back to you in plain language instead of raw trace data.
lead-research-assistant
Works out who would actually buy what you sell, then hands you a list of real companies to approach and a way in to each one.
mcp-builder
Building an MCP server — the connector that lets an AI assistant use an outside service like GitHub or a database — so the assistant can get real work done with it.
meeting-insights-analyzer
A coach for the way you talk in meetings: it reads your transcripts and tells you where you softened a hard message, talked over someone, or stopped listening.
PDF files are hard to get anything out of and harder to make — this does both in bulk, without anyone opening a single file by hand.
pptx
PowerPoint work without PowerPoint — decks built from scratch, existing ones reopened and reworked, and what's inside them read back out as plain text.
raffle-winner-picker
Someone has to win the giveaway and everyone has to believe it was fair — this makes the pick at random and hands you the timestamp and method to show the entrants.
skill-creator
A skill is a folder of instructions that teaches an AI assistant one job — this one walks you through building your own, from the first questions to a packaged file you can share.
slack-gif-creator
Custom animated emoji and reaction GIFs for Slack, built out of ready-made motion effects like a bounce or a shake and squeezed down to the file size Slack allows.
tailored-resume-generator
Rewrites your resume for one particular job ad, putting the experience that ad asks for first and using its own wording so the automatic screeners don't filter you out.
theme-factory
Gives a slide deck, document or landing page one consistent look — either one of the ready-made color and font pairings, or a new one invented to match your description.
twitter-algorithm-optimizer
Twitter published the code that decides whose posts get shown — this reads your draft tweet against those rules and rewrites it so more people see it.
webapp-testing
Drives a real browser through the website you're building on your own computer — clicking, filling, screenshotting and reporting back what the page actually did.
xlsx
Makes and edits Excel spreadsheets where the totals are worked out by the spreadsheet itself instead of typed in, then reopens the file to check that no cell is showing an error.
youtube-downloader
Saves a YouTube video onto your own computer — the whole thing, or just the sound as an MP3 — at whichever picture quality you ask for.
