LABSCO SUMMARY
Its three skills chain into a single workflow: site-specification turns a plain description into a full spec (site type, audience, tone, layout, typography), design-systems then picks a bold aesthetic direction — typography, color, motion, spatial composition — explicitly to avoid generic "AI slop" defaults, and wordpress-block-theming turns that direction into the actual WordPress Full Site Editing files: theme.json, block templates, template parts, patterns, and functions.php. Together the three back the repository's two Claude Code slash commands, /quick-build and /design-site, and the Claude Cowork /create-site command.
This is not a skill to drop into an existing WordPress project — it is one specific loop: install WordPress Studio, Automattic's local WordPress development app, with its CLI enabled; install this package as a Claude Code or Claude Cowork plugin; describe a site; and let the agent generate and deploy a theme to a local Studio site. Someone maintaining an existing plugin, theme, or block by hand gets nothing from any of the three.

The repository says so itself. Its own README calls the code "beta software," warns it is "not production-ready and may contain bugs, security issues, and other problems," and tells readers to "use at your own risk" — plain language, not something we are inferring from gaps.
Not to be confused with automattic/agent-skills. That is a separate, larger repository in our catalog — thirteen skills of contributor conventions for WordPress plugin, theme, and block development, now archived in favor of the WordPress GitHub org. This one is a smaller, unrelated prototype for building a site from a description, from the same organization but a different product.
Checked 19 September 2026 against the repository's own README and its three skill descriptions; we have not run the generation workflow ourselves.
