better-auth better-icons
COMMUNITYLABSCO SUMMARY
The better-icons CLI and its MCP server search over 200,000 icons across roughly 150 Iconify collections — Material Design, Lucide, Heroicons, Tabler, Phosphor, and dozens more — and return either raw SVG or a ready import for React, Vue, Svelte, or Solid. Its most distinctive tool, sync_icon, writes the chosen icon straight into a project's existing icons file rather than pasting SVG into chat, and the server remembers which collections a project actually uses so later searches favor them.
This suits a team that already has an agent writing UI code and is tired of it guessing at icon names or inventing SVG paths. The setup wizard wires the MCP server into six agents and editors in one command — Cursor, Claude Code, OpenCode, Windsurf, VS Code Copilot, and Google Antigravity — and the CLI also works stand-alone with no agent involved at all.

What the skill file itself does not do. SKILL.md carries none of the icon logic; it exists to tell an agent that eleven MCP tools — search_icons, get_icon, get_icons, sync_icon, scan_project_icons, and six more — already exist and how to combine them. Everything that actually finds or writes an icon runs in the separately-installed better-icons binary, which is why the package is flagged as needing a local tool rather than nothing at all.
