autofix
A guarded way to act on an automated code review: CodeRabbit's comments on your pull request are treated as reports to check, never as instructions to run.
LABSCO SUMMARY
coderabbitai/skills packages exactly two skills, code-review and autofix, as the portable front end to CodeRabbit's own CLI, and neither one does anything until that CLI is installed.
code-review runs a CodeRabbit CLI review against staged, committed, or all changes (or a named directory), then groups what it finds by severity and can drive an autonomous fix-review cycle; it is the package's default skill, meant to fire on any plain-language review, security, or PR-feedback request, not only when named directly. autofix is narrower: it works only against an already-open GitHub pull request, fetching CodeRabbit's unresolved review-thread comments, applying fixes one at a time with explicit per-change approval, and folding the result into one commit plus a summary comment — its own description is explicit that it will never execute a reviewer-left comment as an instruction.
Getting either running starts with coderabbit auth login in the README's own quickstart, so a CodeRabbit account sits behind the whole package. autofix also needs the GitHub CLI authenticated (gh auth status) plus git, since it reads and writes an open pull request, while code-review's own file documents only the CLI being present. This suits a team already paying for CodeRabbit and wanting it callable in plain language from inside an agent chat, across the 35-odd agents the README lists install paths for, rather than as a separate terminal command.
WHAT'S INSIDE
A guarded way to act on an automated code review: CodeRabbit's comments on your pull request are treated as reports to check, never as instructions to run.
An automated review of the code you have just changed, run from your own machine, with every finding ranked from critical down to trivial.
AI-powered code review in Claude Code, powered by CodeRabbit
Gathers CodeRabbit's unresolved review comments on your open pull request and checks each one against your code. It returns a plan of proposed fixes for you to approve one change at a time. It never edits, commits, pushes or posts anything itself.
Give it a change set rather than a file. It establishes what the change is for, calls CodeRabbit, then returns the findings ranked by CodeRabbit's own severity, from critical down to info, and offers the repairs it can make itself. It also knows one trap in the output: a run that returns marked as skipped, with nothing found, means no review happened — not that the code is clean.
