OFFICIALLABSCO SUMMARY
fix-github-issue and review-and-test cover the same loop from opposite ends and share context with each other: fix-github-issue reproduces, diagnoses, fixes, tests on iOS and Android simulators, and raises a pull request, while review-and-test runs unit tests plus simulator checks -- including RTL and LTR behavior -- against an existing PR or branch. triage-issue classifies an incoming issue's priority and checks for duplicates before either one runs, and raise-pr formats the actual PR title, description, and test plan; its own description states that it exists specifically to keep AI or Claude attribution out of commits and PR bodies.
The remaining three are narrower. agent-device drives an iOS simulator or Android emulator directly, using accessibility-tree snapshots for element targeting and a screenshot as fallback. upgrade-react-native walks through bumping the React Native version in the repository's own fixture app, across JS dependencies, Gradle and Kotlin, the Podfile and pbxproj, and Metro config. analyze-feedback reads agent-feedback artifacts back from CI runs and folds what it learns into the skill files and CLAUDE.md themselves.
READ THE FULL ANALYSIS
Who this is not for. Nothing here documents how to use <FlashList> in your own app -- no props, no performance guidance, no FlatList migration steps. That material lives in flash-list's own docs site instead; these seven skills are for someone with write access opening a PR against shopify/flash-list itself.
The README says nothing about them. flash-list's own README is the public-facing pitch for the library -- the v2 rewrite for React Native's new architecture, no more blank cells, a FlatList drop-in code sample -- with no mention of any skill; we found all seven by reading the repository tree.
WHAT'S INSIDE
7 showing · 7 totalagent-device
Drives an iPhone or Android simulator on your computer, finding each button by asking the running app where it actually is rather than guessing from a picture of the screen.
analyze-feedback
When an AI agent works on this project it leaves notes about what tripped it up; this reads the new ones and writes the lessons back into the project's instructions so the next run goes better.
fix-github-issue
The full route from a bug report to a pull request on FlashList — reproduce it on a phone simulator first, then find the cause, fix it, test it, and open the PR.
raise-pr
Opening the pull request at the end of a FlashList fix, to the team's own conventions for the branch name, the commit message and the test plan — and reading as if a person wrote all of it.
review-and-test
Checking somebody's FlashList change before it is merged: the automated tests, then the app running on a real simulator, including how the list behaves in languages that read right to left.
triage-issue
Sorting a freshly filed bug report: how bad is it, has somebody already reported the same thing, and does the reporter need to be asked for more detail.
upgrade-react-native
Moving the small demo app that FlashList is tested against onto a newer version of React Native, and fixing everything on the Android and iOS side that the jump breaks.
