temporalio claude-temporal-plugin
COMMUNITYLABSCO SUMMARY
The skill covers building and debugging Temporal applications across Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, .NET, Ruby, and Rust — workflows, activities, workers, signals, queries, updates, heartbeats, versioning, continue-as-new, child workflows, saga patterns, and the Temporal CLI, Server, and Cloud — and it is the only skill in the repository, so installing the plugin gets you exactly this one thing.
Our dependency label for it is local_tool: an agent needs the Temporal CLI, or an existing Temporal Server or Cloud connection, on hand to actually run anything the skill walks through, not just an API key. It's for a team already writing or maintaining Temporal workflows in any of those languages who wants an agent that knows Temporal's own vocabulary — non-determinism errors, saga patterns, continue-as-new — rather than one guessing at durable-execution concepts from general programming knowledge.
READ THE FULL ANALYSIS
The README undercounts its own languages. Its "What's Included" line names only Python, TypeScript, Go, and Java, while the skill's own description covers three more — .NET, Ruby, and Rust — so a reader skimming just that bullet would miss half the SDKs this actually supports. The repository also carries a standalone warning that the plugin is in Public Preview and "will continue to evolve," and the same skill ships separately for Cursor (temporalio/cursor-temporal-plugin) and OpenAI Codex (temporalio/codex-temporal-plugin) for anyone who doesn't want the Claude Code wrapper specifically.
Checked 19 September 2026 against claude-temporal-plugin's own README and its one skill description; we did not install the plugin or run a Temporal workflow ourselves.

WHAT'S INSIDE
1 showing · 1 totaltemporal-developer
A walk through building on Temporal — the system that lets a half-finished job carry on from where it stopped instead of starting over — across the seven languages it supports, the mistakes that leave a job stuck, and the commands for starting and inspecting one.
