The one skill, upstash-search-js, is entry-point documentation for Upstash's quick starts, indexing concepts and the TypeScript client — covering database creation, upserting typed documents, semantic search with optional reranking, weighting semantic against full-text search, fetching or deleting documents by id, paging through a namespace with range, and resetting an index. That list tracks the README's own code sample closely; this is SDK reference wrapped as a skill, not a task workflow like setting up auth or running a migration.

Upstash's own README carries a specific warning worth repeating here: Upstash Search is not the same product as Upstash Redis Search, an older, separate search extension built on Tantivy that only exists on top of Upstash Redis. The skill and this package are about the standalone Upstash Search product — semantic search, full-text search and reranking as one managed service reached over HTTP — and say nothing about the Redis-based one.

Why one skill still gets a page. Upstash's own README marks this "GA Stage," with "Upstash Professional Support" fully behind it — a maturity claim most single-skill packages here don't make. But it is still one skill covering one client library; there is no separate coverage of index administration, pricing or quota beyond what's in the code sample.

Who it's for. JavaScript or TypeScript developers already choosing or evaluating Upstash Search specifically, in a serverless or edge runtime where an HTTP-based client matters — not Redis Search users, and not anyone working outside the Upstash SDK's own TypeScript client.
