Activepieces Flow Builder

by Activepieces

Builds and publishes Activepieces automation flows from an agent — discover pieces, configure steps, validate, then publish.

Workflow Automation & iPaaSOfficial source
Summary
The discovery half is why an agent can actually build a working flow here.

Seventeen of the 42 tools do nothing but look: read the flow structure, read a code step untruncated, resolve a dropdown's real option IDs, validate a step configuration and return field-level errors without touching anything. That is the difference between an agent that writes plausible automation and one that writes automation that publishes. The cost is a setup step — the URL is per-account, so there is nothing to paste until you copy it out of your own settings.

What it is

Activepieces' built-in MCP server, reached at a Server URL you copy from your own instance's settings. There is no shared address: cloud and self-hosted both give you a per-account URL.

What you get
  • Discovery tools that read flows, step trees, code steps and run results before changing anything
  • Piece research — look up available pieces, their action schemas and dropdown options, including dependent chains
  • Flow building: create, duplicate, rename, enable, delete, and build a whole flow in one call
  • Validation before publishing — structural checks and field-level step validation that modify nothing
  • Tables and runs: query records, list recent runs, read step-by-step outputs and errors
Requirements

An Activepieces project and its Server URL from Settings → MCP Server. The free plan includes MCP with daily-refreshing credits; Plus is $16/mo billed yearly, Team $166/mo.

Setup effort

Paste a URL, then authorize — add the endpoint to your client, then approve the OAuth consent screen
