Summary
Package tracking with no account and no carrier lookup step.
The carrier is inferred from the number itself, which removes the step that usually stalls this task — you rarely remember whether a given code belongs to UPS, Royal Mail or DHL, and here you do not have to.
What it is
AfterShip's public tracking endpoint, reachable as a hosted server: shipment status across carriers, plus a returns-centre preview for merchants.
What you get
- Live status for a shipment, across carriers worldwide
- Carrier detection from the tracking number alone — naming the carrier is optional
- Answers to the questions people actually ask: where is it, why is it late, has it cleared customs
- An interactive AfterShip Returns Center demo generated for a store domain you name
Requirements
Nothing to sign up for. It is a remote endpoint at https://mcp.aftership.com/tracking/public, over Streamable HTTP, with no authentication.
Setup effort
One command — claude mcp add --transport http aftership https://mcp.aftership.com/tracking/public
