The carrier is inferred from the number itself, which removes the step that usually stalls this task — you rarely remember whether a given code belongs to UPS, Royal Mail or DHL, and here you do not have to.

AfterShip's public tracking endpoint, reachable as a hosted server: shipment status across carriers, plus a returns-centre preview for merchants.
