Finance operations on your real Airwallex account, with money-out blocked.

Finance teams on Airwallex can hand an agent back-office jobs such as adding suppliers, issuing corporate cards, billing from a contract and reporting cash across currencies, with Airwallex's AgentOS skills (beta) running the steps.

What it is

Airwallex's remote MCP server at mcp.airwallex.com/mcp, part of its AgentOS toolkit for AI agents. It reads and writes resources in your production Airwallex account, for agents that run in chat apps or hosted platforms rather than a terminal. By default it does not move money: no transfers, FX conversions or payouts.

What you get

  • Balances read across currencies, along with receivables and obligations
  • Beneficiaries created, for paying suppliers later
  • Cardholders created and virtual or physical corporate cards issued with spend limits
  • Invoices and subscriptions created
  • Indicative FX quotes managed
  • Airwallex's AgentOS skills (beta), installed with it, for whole jobs such as billing from a contract or FX exposure analysis

Requirements

  • A production Airwallex account; you connect with OAuth and should grant only the scopes your task needs.
  • For testing against a sandbox, Airwallex offers a separate Developer MCP instead.
  • Agents that run in a terminal, such as Claude Code or scripts, are pointed to the Airwallex CLI, which covers more of the API.
  • It changes production data, so keep manual approval on for every write, check the results in the Airwallex app, and never add the connected agent to a shared channel such as Slack.
