Cashfree offers it two ways, with different tools: its hosted server (37 tools) and the npm package or local build (38 tools). On Cashfree's hosted server you sign in with your merchant login; the npm package and the local build instead need an app ID and secret for each Cashfree product you turn on (Payments, Payouts or SecureID).

What it is

Cashfree's own MCP server for a merchant account. Both versions create orders, payment links and refunds and read them back. The hosted server adds transaction search, your unsettled balance and next settlement date, whether you can take an instant withdrawal and what it would cost, and reconciliation reports; the npm package or local build adds payouts, KYC links and disputes.

Transaction coverage (hosted server only): complete lifecycle of a single transaction, plus filtered search across transactions and orders.
Payment methods (hosted server only): payment method codes currently available on the account.
Settlement visibility (hosted server only): total unsettled amount held by Cashfree, the next settlement date, and holiday information.
Settlement searches: standard settlement lookups on both versions; on-demand and vendor settlement searches and real-time transfer timelines on the hosted server only.
On-demand withdrawals (hosted server only): activation status, daily limit, eligible funds, and exact charges for a requested amount.
Reconciliation (hosted server only): reports generated asynchronously, then polled and downloaded.
Payment links: create, inspect, cancel, and trace payment links to the orders placed through them.
Payment Gateway: orders, payments, refunds, and a sandbox simulator for testing a payment flow.

Payouts, KYC and disputes (npm package or local build only): bank transfers and Cashgrams, name checks and KYC links, and accepting or contesting disputes.

Requirements

Hosted server (Claude on the web, desktop or mobile, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code): a Cashfree merchant account with owner-level access, which you sign in with — no keys to create. npm package or local build: Node.js and npx for the package, or Git and npm to build from source, plus an app ID and secret for each Cashfree product you turn on (Payments, Payouts or SecureID). The package's own configuration starts in sandbox.

1. Open the connectors directory

Log in to Claude on the web, Claude Desktop or the Claude mobile app. Select Customize in the left navigation, then the Connectors tab.

2. Connect and sign in to Cashfree

Search for Cashfree, select the Cashfree listing, then Connect. You are redirected to the Cashfree Merchant Dashboard — log in with the merchant account that should have access. If the connection is blocked, check your Claude account settings: connector access may need a paid plan.

The path in args is the dist/index.js the build produced, and <YOUR_PATH_TO_CASHFREE_MCP> is the full path to your cashfree-mcp clone. <YOUR_TWO_FA_PUBLIC_KEY_PEM> is the path to your 2FA public key, needed only if 2FA is enabled. The other six are the client ID and secret for Payment Gateway, Payouts and SecureID; you need the pair only for the products listed in TOOLS.
