LABSCO SUMMARY
Company, funding and investor research from Crunchbase, with lists you can save.
Deal sourcing is where it stands out: a thesis in plain language becomes an exact, repeatable Crunchbase search, and the results can go straight into a list your team can see.
What it is
A remote MCP server Crunchbase runs at mcp.crunchbase.com. It gives your AI assistant live Crunchbase company, funding, investor, people and prediction data. Access is a paid MCP seat, assigned to you by your Crunchbase workspace admin.
What you get
- Plain-language questions answered from live Crunchbase data, with the supporting results
- A full profile of any company, person or investor: financials, leadership, funding rounds and investments
- Exact, repeatable searches by stage, location, dates, amounts and other fields
- A plain-language description of a market turned into a precise search
- Crunchbase lists created and filled with the companies you find
Requirements
- A Crunchbase account with an MCP seat.
- MCP is bought per workspace, separately from your Crunchbase subscription, and an Owner or Admin assigns seats to people on the Crunchbase Business base product; seats cannot be shared.
- You sign in to Crunchbase in your browser, so your password never goes into the AI tool.
- Adding the connector in Claude is free on any Claude plan; the data comes through only with a seat.
- For the most consistent answers, say how to choose (the most recent, the top 3) and ask for facts rather than summaries.
