The free market research report is genuinely usable output rather than a teaser, which is unusual — but be clear-eyed that four of the ten tools exist to move you along a purchase, and the assistant will use them. That is fine if you know it going in. The interesting claim is the one worth testing on your own idea: that the paid report returns named individuals already behaving like buyers, which is a different artefact from a market-size estimate.

What it is

A hosted MCP server for Demand Discovery AI, a validation service built on the argument that most founders measure interest rather than demand. It answers validation questions from behavioural signals drawn across 40+ data sources, and runs the whole product journey from inside the conversation — free research report first, paid report and launch programme after.

Requirements

Nothing to start: the server is hosted, stateless and free to use with no API key and no signup, at `https://mcp.demanddiscovery.ai/api/mcp`. `npx demand-discovery-install` writes the Claude Desktop config for you; Claude Code can install it as a plugin that adds a skill as well as the server, and `npx skills add demand-discovery-ai/mcp` installs the skill into other coding agents. Paid steps are transacted inside the flow — the report is $49 with Starter, Founder and Studio packs available. The service itself is closed-source; this repository holds the manifest, licence and install guides.
