Full site editing, Astra Pro and site health are unusual to find in an MCP server — most stop at posts and media. Breadth is the reason to pick it and also the thing to verify: confirm the group you need is present before building a workflow on top of it.
A TypeScript MCP server covering the WordPress REST API broadly, with tool groups spanning content, media, taxonomies, users, comments, menus, full site editing, site configuration, health, search and WooCommerce.
- Media uploaded, listed, fetched item by item, updated and deleted
- Alt text set on an image on its own, without touching the rest of the attachment
- Categories and the other taxonomies read for retagging work
- Posts, pages and blocks, with revisions and autosaves
- Full site editing: templates, global styles, block patterns and navigation
- Astra Pro settings, mega menus and custom layouts where that theme is in use
- Site health diagnostics, user management with application passwords, and WooCommerce products and orders
A current Node.js, installed from npm as claudeus-wp-mcp. Site access is over WordPress application passwords.
One command plus a key — npm install -g claudeus-wp-mcp, then supply credentials
