A working app with a live preview link, not a mockup.
Emergent builds the whole app, with screens, back end, database and login, while its build agent's questions reach you in the chat and your answers shape the result. Deploying and publishing stay on Emergent.
What it is
Emergent's own connector between your AI chat and your Emergent account. Emergent is a service that builds full apps, with the screens, back end, database and login, from a plain-language description. The connector starts and steers those builds from the chat; you deploy and publish on Emergent itself.
What you get
- A new app build started from a plain-language request
- The build agent's questions passed to you in the chat, so your answers shape the app
- The status of a build, and a list of the apps you have built
- A live preview link to the working app, not a mockup
- A build paused, or an earlier app changed with a follow-up request
Requirements
An Emergent account; you can create one while connecting. You sign in on Emergent's own page and approve three permissions: view projects and jobs, create and manage jobs, and stay connected when you are not using Emergent. The address must keep its trailing slash, https://mcp.emergent.sh/, exactly as shown. In ChatGPT you first switch on Developer mode in the Apps settings.
