Eraser Diagrams & Docs

by Eraser AI

Generates diagrams and docs from a description, manages the files and folders around them, and exports PNG or JPEG.

Diagrams & Charts
Summary
Export as an image is the tool that gets a diagram out of the tool and into the document someone reads.

Generating an architecture diagram is the easy half; getting it into a README or a ticket is where it usually stops. Being able to export PNG or JPEG in the same conversation closes that. Note the free-tier arithmetic before building a habit on it — five AI generations and three files is an evaluation allowance, not a working one, and the MCP server shares those limits rather than being separate.

What it is

Eraser's endpoint for their diagramming and docs tool. Free to use, subject to the same limits as working in the app, with a local package as an alternative.

What you get
  • Diagram and document generation from natural language
  • File and diagram CRUD, archiving, and folder management
  • AI preset management
  • Search across workspaces
  • Export to PNG or JPEG, optionally with a theme
Requirements

OAuth in the browser, or an API token from account settings for CI. The MCP server itself is free; the free plan allows 3 files, 5 AI diagram generations and 7 days of version history.

Setup effort

Paste a URL, then authorize — add the endpoint to your client, then approve the OAuth consent screen
