Generate the video, tag the products in it, and publish the shoppable widget — in one conversation.

Video Generation & Editing
Summary
Creative, catalogue and placement on one connection.

Going from make a video to make it shoppable to put it on the product page normally crosses three tools and two teams. Here they are calls in the same session, and the ad performance that tells you whether it worked comes back through the same connection.

What it is

Tolstoy's shoppable-video workspace as two remote servers. The main one covers Studio generation, the media library, onsite widgets, the product catalog and Meta ad performance for the workspace you sign into. Tolstoy Shopper is a separate public server that searches products across every brand store on the platform.

What you get
  • Studio generations started from a prompt as image or video, refined in the same session, and collected when finished, with projects and their chats listed
  • The media library worked over — recent assets listed, searched by name or creator handle, opened with their tagged products and playlists, renamed or favourited
  • Onsite widgets in every shape the platform ships — Stories, Carousel, Spotlight, For You Feed, Tile, Collection Grid, Bubble Feed — listed live or draft, and inspected down to the actual videos each one shows
  • Widgets created from a template and then renamed, published or taken offline, switched into PDP mode, or given a different content selection
  • Products tagged onto a video, which is what makes it shoppable in product-tagged playlists and PDP widgets, and untagged the same way
  • Catalog collections and products browsed or searched per connected store, with every store on the account listed so the tools can target any of them
  • Meta campaigns listed with their real delivery status, performance read as spend, ROAS, CTR and purchases per campaign, ad set or ad, and a library asset pushed into Meta Ads Manager without creating a campaign or spending anything
  • Marketplace-wide product search on the public server, full product detail with variants, price, media and buy links, and an interactive virtual try-on at participating brands
  • Inline interactive views in app-aware clients — a widget card grid and asset previews rendered in the chat
Requirements

A Tolstoy account for the workspace server at https://apilb.gotolstoy.com/mcp/v1/mcp — add it as a remote connector and your client runs OAuth 2.1 with PKCE on first connect, so there is no key to paste, and the connection is bound to the workspace you authorize. The Shopper server at https://apilb.gotolstoy.com/mcp/v1/shopper/mcp is public and needs no sign-in. Both speak streamable HTTP with nothing installed locally; stdio-only clients such as Codex point at the URL in their own config and run the login separately.

Setup effort

One command — npx -y mcp-remote https://apilb.gotolstoy.com/mcp/v1/mcp
