Per-guru pricing and a per-guru URL line up, which makes the cost of an integration easy to predict.

You pay per knowledge base and you connect per knowledge base — so a client's cost is visible in its configuration. The two-tool split is the familiar and correct one: ask when you want an answer, search when you want to see the source material and judge for yourself. At $499 per guru per month this is a product for a company standardising on one knowledge base, not for exploring.

What it is

Gurubase's endpoint, addressed per guru: the URL contains the guru's slug, so a connection reaches one knowledge base rather than the account.

What you get

  • gurubase_ask — a question answered from that guru
  • gurubase_semantic_search — search the underlying material directly

Requirements

An API key, as a bearer token or in an X-API-KEY header. Pro is $499 per guru per month with a 7-day trial; usage pricing runs from $70 per thousand questions with the rate falling in volume bands.
