Per-function enable switches matter more here than anywhere else, because the tools move things in your house.

A misread instruction in most tools produces a wrong answer. Here it unlocks a door or turns the heating off. Being able to enable state reading and leave device control switched off — rather than trusting a prompt — is the difference between a safe connection and a nervous one. The privacy commitment is unusually specific too: no sale of personal information and no advertising profiles built from Home Assistant or MCP tool data.

What it is

Homeway's endpoint for reaching Home Assistant remotely. Rather than one grant, the capabilities can be enabled and disabled individually, so you decide what an agent may touch.
