CMS & Blog Publishing
Summary
The distance from draft to published is one call.

WriteFreely's appeal is that there is no editor, no dashboard and no ceremony; this keeps that intact by making publication a call from wherever the text was written. Anonymous posting works without a token, so a piece can go out before you decide which blog it belongs to.

What it is

A publishing connection to WriteFreely, the minimal blogging platform behind Write.as. It writes posts into your collections, edits and deletes them, and reads both your own material and the public feed.

What you get
  • Posts published, anonymously or to a collection under your account
  • Existing posts edited or deleted
  • Your collections listed, and the posts within them
  • A collection browsed, and a single post read
  • The public feed browsed, for what is being published beyond your own blog
  • Both Write.as and self-hosted instances, chosen by the base URL
Requirements

A WriteFreely instance — Write.as by default — and an access token for it, obtained from the instance's login endpoint. Anonymous posting works without one. Installed with uvx, uv or pip.
