Most workspace connectors search their own content and stop. Notion's connected sources make this closer to a workspace search than a Notion search, which changes what a single question can answer. The capability set is otherwise broad and unscoped — read, create and update across the workspace — so the boundary is whichever workspace you authorise, and it is worth authorising a specific one rather than the one that has everything.
Notion's hosted server. Streamable HTTP is the recommended transport, with SSE available. Search reaches connected sources as well as Notion itself.
