Notion Workspace MCP

by Notion

Notion's own endpoint — search across Notion and connected sources, read and update content, and create pages and databases.

Summary
Search covering connected sources means one query reaches beyond Notion itself.

Most workspace connectors search their own content and stop. Notion's connected sources make this closer to a workspace search than a Notion search, which changes what a single question can answer. The capability set is otherwise broad and unscoped — read, create and update across the workspace — so the boundary is whichever workspace you authorise, and it is worth authorising a specific one rather than the one that has everything.

What it is

Notion's hosted server. Streamable HTTP is the recommended transport, with SSE available. Search reaches connected sources as well as Notion itself.

What you get
  • Searching content in Notion and in connected sources
  • Reading, creating and updating Notion content
  • Creating pages and databases
Requirements

Browser OAuth against your Notion workspace.

Setup effort

Paste a URL, then authorize — add the endpoint to your client, then approve the OAuth consent screen
