Summary
The voice question answered before you start listening.

WordCast reads documents aloud with the voices your operating system already has, which makes which of them can I actually use the first real question. This answers it, along with the product's own FAQ and links, without an account or a quota in the way.

What it is

A read-only MCP server for WordCast, a browser-based text-to-speech reader that processes text entirely on your own device. It exposes WordCast's canonical knowledge surface — voice and TTS workflows, blog topics, FAQ and official links — to MCP clients.

What you get
  • The voices available to WordCast, drawn from those the operating system has installed
  • WordCast's own material on voice and TTS workflows, its FAQ and its official links
  • Read-only access, with no API key and no quota
Requirements

Node.js. No API key and no account — it reads published WordCast material and nothing of yours.

Setup effort

One command — npx -y @smithery/cli install wordcast-mcp --client claude
