LABSCO SUMMARY
Products, stock and discount codes changed in your Shopify store directly.
Store owners get routine catalog work done without the admin screens, from building products and collections to setting stock counts, creating discount codes and reading sales as tables and charts.
What it is
A remote MCP server Shopify runs at setup.shopify.com. It works with one store at a time, and you can switch to another store you own. There is no extra Shopify fee for using it; standard Shopify plan pricing applies to the store.
What you get
- Products created, edited and searched, and set to active, draft or archived up to 50 at a time
- Collections created by hand or by rule, edited, and filled with products
- Stock levels read across locations and set for one item at one location
- Percentage-off discount codes created for the whole store, some products or a collection
- Orders and customer records looked up, read-only
- Sales and customer questions answered from your store's analytics as tables and charts
- Pages, menus, blogs and other store data read or changed through Shopify's Admin API, after you confirm
- Business name ideas and available domain names, and a sample product catalog to fill an empty store
Requirements
- Name and domain ideas need no sign-in.
- To manage a store, you sign in to Shopify and approve the data access it asks for; what it can change then depends on that approval and on your staff permissions.
- In Claude you install it from Claude's Shopify connector page, using a desktop browser.
- It cannot refund, cancel or edit orders, change store settings, or touch your live theme; do those in the Shopify admin.
- Mention Shopify by name in your request, or Claude may answer with instructions instead of making the change.
