Two screeners - one fundamental over a large ratio set, one technical with crossover conditions - turn a vague thesis into a list you can test in one question. Everything else supports that: financials to check the list, flows and deals for context, and a portfolio that reports live P&L so the same session covers what you already hold.
What it is
A hosted server covering NSE and BSE listed companies, around 8,200 including SME. The npm package is a thin stdio bridge; the tools themselves run remotely, which is why the local install has no dependencies to speak of.

- Company profiles with fundamentals, technicals, analyst ratings and peer comparison in a single call, plus news, corporate actions and filings
- Live quotes one at a time or twenty in a batch, and daily or weekly price history with delivery percentage
- Quarterly and annual financials, shareholding patterns over time, and analyst forecasts with actuals beside estimates
- Institutional flows: FII and DII daily cash figures, participant-wise open interest, and FPI allocation by sector
- Market plumbing: bulk and block deals, the F&O ban list, IPO subscription data, margin trading and stock lending, technical signals and index heatmaps
- Portfolio tracking with live P&L and broker CSV import, plus a watchlist
Requirements
An account. Chat apps connect straight to the remote endpoint and authenticate over Google OAuth with no token to manage. Editors that support URL servers pass a personal token as a bearer header; stdio clients run the npm package with the token in TAPETIDE_TOKEN, which needs Node.js 18+. Limits are per account and identical on all three routes (OAuth, remote token, npm bridge): the free plan allows 50 successful tool calls a day and 1,000 a month, and a denied call names the cap and when it resets.
