The natural loop in research is reading transcripts until a pattern appears, then recording it. Exposing exactly that single write — a card — means an assistant can participate in the analysis without being able to alter the underlying record. The transcripts stay what the participant actually said; the interpretation is clearly marked as something added. That distinction matters more in qualitative research than almost anywhere else, and it is enforced here by the shape of the tool set rather than by convention.
User Evaluation stores qualitative research: sessions, files, transcripts and the insight cards drawn from them. The endpoint is almost entirely read-only.
