Every response carries the canonical citation and a schema version, which is what makes these numbers usable in something you publish rather than only in a chat. Coverage is national at county resolution, plus the composite for the country as a whole.
What it is
A server over American Default Research: its full set of economic distress indicators, county-level distress scores for every US county, and the American Distress Index composite.
What you get
- Any indicator by slug, as a compact snapshot with pre-computed aggregates
- A county scorecard by 5-digit FIPS, broken into five domains
- The latest quarter's ADI composite with its five components and zone
- A canonical citation on every response
- schema_version v1 on every response, with v1 tools kept live when a v2 ships
- Response sizes held to a budget — an indicator snapshot comes back compact rather than as a raw dump
Requirements
Nothing to install: point a client at the hosted streamable-HTTP endpoint https://mcp.americandefault.org/mcp. It is also reachable through the Smithery gateway.
