Get your API key from your forum's Integrate โ API settings.

Set it as an environment variable:
export WEBSITETOOLBOX_API_KEY="your-api-key"On Windows:
set WEBSITETOOLBOX_API_KEY=your-api-keyOr create a .env file (copy .env.example to .env and fill in your key).

Optional โ act as a specific user:

Install in Claude Desktop
- Open Claude Desktop. If you don't have it, download it first.
- Download the .mcpb bundle.
- In Claude Desktop, go to Settings (click your name at the bottom left, then the gear icon), then click Extensions in the left sidebar.
- Click Install from file and select the downloaded
.mcpbfile. - When prompted, enter your forum's API key. You can find it in your forum's admin area under Integrate โ API.
- Start a new conversation and ask something about your forum!
