Runs Fabric deployment pipelines, which copy content from one stage to the next, typically development to test to production. Your assistant can set up the pipeline and its stages, assign a workspace to each stage, deploy everything or only chosen items, and wait for the deployment to finish. To deploy only what changed, it compares the two stages item by item first, since Fabric has no API that reports changes.

WHEN TO USE

SCOPE

USE FOR

  • Create a three-stage pipeline: development, test and production.
  • Assign a workspace to the development stage.
  • Deploy every item from development to test and wait for the result.
  • Deploy only the items that changed since the last deployment.

NOT FOR

  • Syncing a workspace with Git: the git-integration-operations-cli skill does that.
  • Deployment or parameter rules, such as a different data source per stage: Fabric only lets you set those in its web portal.
