Runs a research project for you, from question to paper draft: it searches the literature, forms hypotheses, runs experiments, records what each one showed and writes up the findings. It works on its own without asking for approval, and its first step is a loop that resumes the work every 20 minutes, so it keeps going while you are away.

WHEN TO USE

SCOPE

USE FOR

  • Turn a rough research question into a literature survey and a set of testable hypotheses.
  • Run experiments overnight against one measurable target, such as validation loss.
  • Pick a project up where it stopped, from the state and findings files it keeps.
  • Get progress reports with charts as the work moves along.
  • Save each experiment's plan to git before it runs, so there is proof the plan came before the results.
  • Hand the finished findings to the paper-writing skill for a first draft.

NOT FOR

  • A one-off job, such as training one model or writing one paper: the matching skill does that directly.
  • Work where you want to approve each step: it is written to keep going without asking.
