Sets up and runs NVIDIA's Cosmos Policy, a model that turns camera images and a written instruction into robot movements, on two simulated robot benchmarks, LIBERO and RoboCasa. It covers a fresh GPU server without a screen, a quick one-trial check, the full benchmark runs and timing the model's responses.

WHEN TO USE

SCOPE

USE FOR

  • Run a five-to-ten-minute check on one LIBERO task suite before a full run.
  • Run all four LIBERO suites with 50 trials each and compare with NVIDIA's published success rates.
  • Evaluate a kitchen task, such as turning off a microwave, in RoboCasa.
  • Make the simulator render on a GPU server that has no display.
  • Measure how long the model takes to respond, on a cluster or a local GPU.

NOT FOR

  • Training or fine-tuning Cosmos Policy: NVIDIA's own training documentation covers that.
  • OpenVLA-based policies: the fine-tuning-openvla-oft skill.
  • Physical Intelligence's pi0 models: the fine-tuning-serving-openpi skill.
  • Tests on a real robot rather than in simulation.
