A section-by-section plan for a 12-page systems paper for OSDI, SOSP, ASPLOS, NSDI or EuroSys: how many pages each section gets, what each paragraph should do, and checklists drawn from guides by the conferences' own reviewers and programme chairs. It also carries LaTeX templates and each venue's page limits.

WHEN TO USE

SCOPE

USE FOR

  • Plan the page budget for a 12-page OSDI or NSDI submission.
  • Draft an introduction around one thesis: X is better for Y in Z.
  • Structure an evaluation with end-to-end comparisons, ablations and scaling results.
  • Run a pre-submission checklist against the target venue's rules.
  • Start from the OSDI 2026, NSDI 2027, ASPLOS 2027 or SOSP 2026 LaTeX template.

NOT FOR

  • NeurIPS, ICML or ICLR papers: the ml-paper-writing skill.
  • Checking citations: the ml-paper-writing skill does the verification.
