Expo Skills gives coding agents instructions for working on Expo and React Native apps, from navigation and native UI to releases and production diagnostics. Describe your task in ordinary language; the agent selects relevant skills from the request. The overview skill directs Expo and EAS tasks to more specific guidance and supplies shared setup rules.
The Claude Code and Codex plugins also register the Expo MCP Server for access to Expo and EAS services. The skills CLI installs instruction files only. In Cursor, the agent selects relevant skills automatically; you can also invoke a skill by typing / in Agent chat and searching for its name.
Ask the agent to add settings controls, tabs, or a modal to an Expo app. The skills cover native UI components, Expo Router navigation, and animations, with separate guidance for keeping styles consistent across screens.
Reuse a web component inside an Expo DOM component, or plan a broader migration from an existing React website to iOS and Android. The guidance distinguishes incremental web reuse from the work of migrating a whole app.
Use the upgrade guidance when changing SDK versions leaves dependency conflicts or deprecated packages to replace. It covers package migrations and dependency fixes alongside the SDK upgrade.
Have the agent help configure EAS builds, signing, app versions, store submissions, and listing metadata. Cloud builds use EAS plan resources; Apple Developer and Google Play memberships are separate requirements.

Use the remote simulator guidance to run an app and let an agent interact with it or capture screenshots. Expo Simulators is a limited-access preview available to select partners; a paid or free plan alone does not include access.

Confirm that the Expo skills appear in the Skills list.
