From a research description to an editable BioRender figure.
Scientists can start a figure from BioRender's template library, their own files or a plain description rather than a blank page.
What it is
BioRender's own connector for AI assistants. It brings BioRender's scientific illustration library and your own BioRender files into the conversation, and every result links back to BioRender for editing.
What you get
- BioRender's template library searched for ready-made scientific templates
- Your own and shared BioRender figures searched, labelled apart from public templates
- New figures drafted with BioRender AI from a description, an optional template or a sketch you provide
- Previews shown in the conversation, with a link to open and edit each figure in BioRender
Requirements
A BioRender account; you sign in with your BioRender credentials and approve the permissions it asks for. Some templates need a BioRender Premium plan, and drafting figures needs BioRender AI on your plan. Each figure it drafts uses up BioRender AI on your account. Your searches, prompts and figures are shared with the AI assistant you connect, which handles them under its own privacy terms.
