What it is
Expensify's own server that connects an AI assistant to your Expensify account through Expensify's Search. You ask a question, Expensify returns the matching data, and your assistant does the analysis and the summary. It is read-only: it cannot create, edit, approve or delete anything.

- Expenses searched, filtered and summarized, including ones missing a receipt
- Reports summarized, and the ones waiting for approval found
- Reimbursements, invoices, merchants and categories
- Spending compared over time and by category
- Trips, chats, tasks and Workspace data
Requirements
An Expensify account; any member can connect. You sign in to Expensify in your browser and approve the access, and the assistant then reads only what your account and Workspace permissions already let you see. On Claude's Free plan you get one custom connector. You can disconnect at any time in your AI client's settings.
