LABSCO SUMMARY
Competitor traffic, audiences and search rivals, measured by Similarweb.
Benchmarking is the main use, setting traffic trends, channel mix, audience overlap and search winners for several sites side by side.
What it is
A remote MCP server Similarweb runs at mcp.similarweb.com. It gives your assistant the Similarweb data your own plan includes, covering websites, search keywords and mobile apps. Queries use your Similarweb data credits, the same as the API.
What you get
- Website traffic and engagement over time: visits, unique visitors, visit length and bounce rate
- Traffic broken down by channel, country, subdomain, folder and popular page
- Website rank, similar sites, referral sites and ad networks
- Audience demographics, interests, and overlap between 2 to 5 sites
- Technologies a site uses and its monthly paid-search spend
- The top sites winning search traffic for a keyword, with click trends
- App details, store rank and install share by country
Requirements
- A Similarweb subscription with API access: Business, Enterprise or the API-only package.
- You connect with your Similarweb API key, found under User Settings > API Access.
- Results follow your plan's datasets, regions and history.
- Broad date ranges and daily detail use more credits, so narrow the question when you can.
- Low-traffic sites may have little data; widen the date range or switch to worldwide.
- Similarweb's Claude setup guide also describes Amazon shopper data, but none of the 26 tools listed for this server covers Amazon; check with Similarweb before relying on it.
