INSTALLATION
Log into the Zoom App Marketplace as a developer or admin, click Develop → Build app, select General app and click Create
Add the OAuth scopes your integration needs — each tool on this server's Zoom docs page names the one scope it uses
Register your client's OAuth redirect URL in the app — for Claude, https://claude.ai/api/mcp/auth_callback
Get an access token with a POST to https://zoom.us/oauth/token, including the PKCE code_verifier (the MCP specification requires OAuth 2.1)
Point your client at https://mcp.zoom.us/mcp/zoom/streamable and send the token as a Bearer token in the Authorization header

Open the Zoom for Claude connector in Claude's connector directory:

Create a General app on the Zoom App Marketplace and add the scopes for the tools you want (Setup above)
In the app's Basic Information → OAuth Information, set the OAuth redirect URL to https://claude.ai/api/mcp/auth_callback
In Claude.ai, select Customize → Connectors → + and Add custom connector
Name: Zoom MCP Server. Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.zoom.us/mcp/zoom/streamable. OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret: from the app's Basic information page, App Credentials section
Click Add and complete the connector setup
Connect Zoom for Claude, or your own custom connector, in claude.ai (see the Claude.ai tab)
Log in to Claude Code with the same claude.ai account; the connector appears in /mcp without further setup
In ChatGPT, click Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn Developer mode on
Click Create app. Name: Zoom MCP Server. MCP server URL: https://mcp.zoom.us/mcp/zoom/streamable. Authentication: OAuth
Under OAuth → Advanced settings → Client registration, set Registration method to User-Defined OAuth Client, enter your Zoom app's Client ID and Client Secret, and set Token endpoint auth method to client_secret_basic
Copy the Call back value from that page into your Zoom app's OAuth redirect URL (Basic Information → OAuth Information)
