Prepare for a client review
Give Claude a household name or email and the review timeframe. It assembles available client context, portfolio information and planning topics into a prep document with an agenda, talking points and action items.
Prepare client reviews, organize meeting follow-up and review portfolio information in Claude Cowork using your firm’s connected systems.
Claude for Financial Advisors is an Anthropic plugin for financial professionals working in Claude Cowork. It brings client records, portfolio information and planning documents into workflows for preparing reviews, organizing follow-up and drafting material for the advisor to evaluate. With a relevant connector enabled, Claude can retrieve information from that system; otherwise, the workflows offer pasted or uploaded material as a fallback.
Ask for a task in ordinary language or invoke a skill directly, such as /pre-meeting or /compliance in Cowork. In Claude Code, plugin skills use qualified names, such as /claude-for-financial-advisors:pre-meeting. The skill instructions guide Claude’s work, including dispatching supporting agents to gather information for workflows such as meeting preparation. You choose the task and review the results; the workflows instruct Claude to obtain your approval before writing to an external system.
Give Claude a household name or email and the review timeframe. It assembles available client context, portfolio information and planning topics into a prep document with an agenda, talking points and action items.
Start with a meeting record or transcript. Claude drafts a CRM note, identifies commitments and opportunities, checks for duplicate CRM items and presents proposed writes together for your approval.
Submit an email, presentation or other client-facing material for a preliminary compliance review. The workflow flags potential issues under applicable SEC rules and, where relevant, broker-dealer rules, and suggests disclosures and revisions for professional review.
Use account statements, exports or screenshots to build a consolidated prospect summary, an analyst handoff and a what-to-expect memo. You can begin before files are available; the workflow looks for them in connected systems or asks you to upload them. It does not produce a proposal, recommend an allocation or quote fees.
Review performance and allocation drift against an investment policy statement or model portfolio. Claude prepares tax-aware rebalance opportunities for your evaluation and a memo documenting your rationale; investment decisions remain yours.
Bring alternative-investment positions alongside the liquid portfolio to examine commitments, unfunded amounts, capital-call needs and concentration. The brief cites source platforms and flags stale figures without recommending funds or forecasting returns.
Compare estate-plan information with account titling and beneficiaries, alongside a prior-year tax look-back. Claude surfaces trust-funding issues and beneficiary gaps and can propose CRM follow-up tasks for approval; it does not change beneficiaries, retitle accounts or draft trust language.
The skills dispatch supporting agents for focused checks and data gathering. In local Claude Code, install the whole plugin and start a new session to load its components; each agent’s usage entry names the skill to start. The MCP servers provide external connections for workflows, and you choose which systems to authorize.

Flag passages that may breach applicable marketing and conduct rules, with reasons.
Start /claude-for-financial-advisors:compliance with the material and its audience, channel and firm context. The skill dispatches this agent to scan the content and return cited findings; disclosure wording and the redraft remain with the parent workflow.
Check holdings data for inconsistencies before drift or tax calculations.
Start /claude-for-financial-advisors:portfolio-rebalance-review for the household. After gathering holdings, the skill dispatches this agent with the data, reported portfolio value and any applicable sleeve structure. Its findings identify which later calculations each data problem could affect.
Retrieve requested fields from one system for an already-identified household.
Start /claude-for-financial-advisors:pre-meeting with a household and review timeframe. The skill dispatches this agent separately for each source, supplying the confirmed household, system, tool names and requested fields. The agent returns source data; household identification and the final document remain with the parent workflow.
Extract accounts and holdings from one statement, marking inferred and unreadable fields.
Start /claude-for-financial-advisors:prospect-intake with the prospect’s statements, exports or screenshots. The skill dispatches this agent once per file, supplying its path and the prospect’s name, then consolidates the returned account records.
Compare estate-plan intentions with account titling and beneficiaries, including unmatched items.
Start /claude-for-financial-advisors:estate-and-tax-brief for the household. Once the plan and account records are gathered, the skill dispatches this agent with intended ownership and beneficiaries alongside actual records. It reports disagreements for the advisor and estate attorney to assess.
