Some errors are never yours to fix — a browser extension misbehaving, a bot hammering your site — and they drown out the ones that matter. This sets up a tight rule that throws those away before they are ever recorded.

WHEN TO USE

SCOPE

USE FOR

  • Stop capturing browser-extension or ad-blocker errors that keep flooding error tracking.
  • Silence a harmless browser quirk that keeps logging a warning nobody can act on.
  • Cut the bill from bot and crawler traffic that keeps triggering the same error.
  • Check exactly which past errors a new rule would have thrown away before switching it on.

NOT FOR

  • An error that might become fixable later belongs to issue status archived or resolved, not suppression.
  • Wanting to just mute notifications is a status or notification-rule change, not a suppression rule.
  • A duplicate of another error should be merged or grouped, not suppressed.
