Puts a Zoom Virtual Agent chat on your website, launched from a campaign or an entry ID, with controls driven by the chat's events and updates to what it knows about the user. Its rules: wait until the SDK is ready before calling it, never show, hide, open or close the chat before it starts, and check your content security settings first when something fails. A campaign embed asks less of your visitors than an entry ID.
WHEN TO USE
USE FOR
- Add a Zoom Virtual Agent chat to your website.
- Open or hide the chat in response to its events.
- Pass details about the signed-in user into the chat.
- Fix a chat that fails to load because of your site's security settings.
This is a saved copy of the skill's SKILL.md instructions. It may differ from the upstream file or the version you install.
Zoom Virtual Agent SDK - Web
Quick Links
Hard Guardrails
- Gate calls behind readiness (
zoomCampaignSdk:readyorwaitForReady()). - Do not call
show/hide/open/closebefore SDK initialization. - Keep CSP and script host policy validated before debugging business logic.
- Prefer campaign embed over entry ID when minimizing user friction is a priority.
Chaining
- Product-level architecture and drift checks: ../SKILL.md
- Contact Center web context: ../../contact-center/web/SKILL.md
- OAuth or REST for backend workflows: ../../oauth/SKILL.md, ../../rest-api/SKILL.md

2 FOR YOUAll items below are required.
- 01Install with Zoom's plugin, not on its own
Install it as part of the Zoom plugin in Anthropic's Knowledge Work Plugins marketplace, not as a single copied folder. It sends your assistant to the plugin's main Virtual Agent guide and its Contact Center, Zoom sign-in and REST API guides, which a lone copy would not have.
- 02A Virtual Agent campaign or entry ID
A Zoom Virtual Agent campaign or entry ID to launch the chat from.
Install as a Claude Code plugin
Typed inside the agent's own prompt, not in a terminal. This skill uses files kept elsewhere in its plugin, so install the whole plugin — on its own the skill would be missing them.
